Social Justice Group Presentation
Reflection:
This group project deepened my understanding of social justice in education and the importance of addressing systemic inequalities in the classroom. Collaborating with peers allowed us to share diverse perspectives, which made the learning process more meaningful and dynamic. Exploring issues like racism, ableism, and heterosexism helped me reflect on my own role as a future educator and how I can create a more inclusive learning environment. The webbing map, Blooket, and discussions encourages critical thinking and creativity. Overall, this experience reinforced my belief that education must be intentional in promting equity and that change begins with informed educators.
Lesson Plans
Physical Education Lesson Plan
Reflection:
Both the paintbag letter formation and soccer lesson plans effectively promoted hands -on learning, engagement and skill development. The paint bag activity offered a sensory-rich way to reinforce letter recognition and fine motor control, which proved particularly effective for diverse learners. Meanwhile, the soccer lesson encourages physical literacy, teamwork, and spatial awareness through movement and structured play. One area for growth in both lessons is ensuring all learners receive differentiated support throughout the activities. I will continue refining transitions and assessment strategies to better track individual progress while maintaining an inclusive and responsive learning environment that promotes confidence and participation.
